MamaMagic Expo is good for the brand says Monkeybum

“Monkeybum is a proudly South African online kiddies clothing store focusing on babies and toddlers – known to be a little funky, a little punk rock and a whole lot of fun. Moms and dads alike love us for our edgy slogans and amazing quality. Monkeybum has been fortunate to participate in MamaMagic for several years watching the show grow from strength to strength and we were heartbroken when Covid meant that we couldn’t engage with our clients face-to-face for so long.

The return of MamaMagic was greatly anticipated and did not disappoint. Despite being post-Covid, being at a new venue (with obvious traffic implications) as well as cold and rainy weather during the weekend, parents and parents-to-be realised the value of meeting with their favourite brands and getting to know new ones.

One of the biggest benefits of an expo of this calibre is allowing a brand to meet new and prospective clients. Whether they were newly pregnant and looking at what is out there, or about to pop, we found so many people wanting to engage and find out more about our brand.

Clothing is all about the quality, and clients having the opportunity to see your products first-hand brings tremendous value. In addition to this, your brand name reaches people who may never have found you online.

Mama Magic will always be one of our favourite events of the year. Engaging with new clients and forging new relationships is invaluable and reconnecting with old clients who give such amazing feedback reminds us why we do what we do. Despite smaller than usual turnouts on Thursday and Friday, Saturday and Sunday more than made up for it and got us excited to participate in our next MamaMagic.”
